The project is part of the development of 5G digital technology to elevate manufacturing processes to Industry 4.0, bringing together the expertise of the Thai-German Institute of Smart Factory, Automation and Robotics, where the equipment in the automation system will be connected to the 5G network, enabling tools to automatically exchange information and order each other. All in preparation for a creative space, testing, and upgrading the design of digital solutions (5G Testbed) of the production process and progress towards Industry 4.0 in the future.
“โครงการดังกล่าวเป็นหนึ่งในแนวทางการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลด้วยเครือข่าย 5G เพื่อยกระดับกระบวนการผลิตสู่ Industry 4.0 โดยจะต่อยอดความเชี่ยวชาญ ด้าน Smart Factory , Automation และ Robotics ของสถาบันไทย-เยอรมัน ซึ่งอุปกรณ์ในระบบอัตโนมัติภายใน ศูนย์ฯ จะได้รับการเชื่อมต่อกับเครือข่าย 5G ทำให้ เครื่องมือต่าง ๆ สามารถแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและสั่งการระหว่างกันได้โดยอัตโนมัติ ทั้งหมดเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในการเป็นพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์ ทดสอบทดลอง และยกระดับการออกแบบดิจิทัลโซลูชัน (5G Testbed) ของกระบวนการผลิตและก้าวสู่การเป็นอุตสาหกรรม 4.0 ในอนาคต
