Machine Efficiency Certified Service (Apply Under Project supported by
BOI)
The Thai-German Institute (TGI) is a trusted
institution capable of certifying the performance of used machinery according to
BOI Announcement No. 2/2546 regarding the criteria for approving the import of
used machinery for projects receiving promotion. The certification is conducted
by a team of professionals with over 15 years of expertise and experience in
machinery performance assessment, covering various sectors of the manufacturing
industry.
The Thai-German Institute (TGI) is a network of
the Ministry of Industry (Thailand) which provides advanced manufacturing
technology training and transfer services to the Thai industry, along with other
services aligned with the organization’s vision. One of these services is
"certifying the performance of machinery for enterprises that have received
investment promotion from the Board of Investment (BOI)." The Institute carries
out inspections and issues machine efficiency certification documents covering
seven essential details as required by the BOI's criteria for approving the
import of used machinery for promoted projects.
